Terms of Service

Effective November 1, 2026

We’ve written these in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask before you sign up and we’ll explain it.

01Who we are and what these terms cover

You Wreck We Tech, LLC (“You Wreck We Tech”, “we”, “us”) is a Florida limited liability company. These Terms of Service govern every service we provide, whether in person, by phone or over a remote session, and whether you are a member or a one-time client. By requesting or receiving our services, creating an account, or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms.

If you are buying services on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes it.

02Hourly rates and billing increments

  • Members: $200 per hour. One rate whether we come to you or connect remotely, and no surcharge if a specialist has to be brought in.
  • Non-members (one-time help): $300 per hour. One-time help does not include backup, antivirus, monitoring, workshops or any other membership benefit.
  • Billed in 15-minute increments. In-person visits have a one-hour minimum.
  • First-call discount: $50 off your first invoice with us, member or not. One per household or business.
  • Hardware, software licenses, parts and third-party subscriptions are billed at cost plus any agreed handling and are not covered by plan hours.

03Membership plans

Membership is a monthly subscription. Each plan includes a set number of hours per month and defines who is covered:

  • Duo: 2 hours per month, $400 per month. Two people, one home. Each gets one computer and one phone covered.
  • Household: 4 hours per month, $720 per month. Everyone under one roof. Each person gets one computer and one phone covered.
  • Estate: 10 hours per month, $1,700 per month. No limit on people. Parents, in-laws, grown kids, close friends, wherever they live.

Every covered person is allotted one computer and one phone, and every plan covers one home. Extra devices are $50 per month each. Extra homes are $50 per month each.

Backup as a service, antivirus and malware protection, and remote monitoring and management are included on every covered device and may not be declined. They require our agent software to remain installed on covered devices for the life of the membership.

Only the people, homes and devices on your plan are covered. Anyone outside it is billed at the non-member rate, or you can widen your plan for a minimum of one quarter.

04How hours work: rollover and quarterly refund

  • Unused hours roll over month to month.
  • Hours are drawn down in the same 15-minute increments as hourly billing, for any work we do for a covered person on a covered device.
  • At the end of every quarter, we refund 50% of the value of any hours you didn’t use. The value of an unused hour is your plan’s monthly price divided by its monthly hours.
  • Or take it as a credit on your next bill worth 60% of that value. The credit is applied to the next invoice and has no cash value.
  • Example: $1,000 of unused hours at quarter end is a $500 refund to your card, or a $600 credit toward your next bill.
  • The refund is calculated on the last day of each calendar quarter for hours accrued during that quarter. If a membership is cancelled mid-quarter, the refund is calculated on the cancellation date for the hours accrued since the last quarter end.

05Payment, first month and deposits

  • Your first month is paid up front when you join. If your first month’s hours are consumed immediately by an initial problem, the second month is also due up front.
  • We may ask for a deposit toward the current quarter for new members or members with a history of late payment.
  • Monthly fees are charged automatically to the card on file on your billing date through our payment processor. Hourly work outside a plan is invoiced and due on receipt.
  • Invoices unpaid 15 days after their due date may pause your membership, including backup and monitoring, until the balance is paid.
  • All prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is added where required.

06No contract, cancellation and changes

  • No contract. Cancel any time from your member portal or by emailing help@youwreckwetech.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month; the month already paid is not prorated.
  • Widening a plan to cover someone outside your current scope requires keeping the wider plan for at least one full quarter.
  • We may change prices or plan contents with 30 days’ notice by email. Continuing your membership after the change takes effect means you accept it.
  • We may end a membership with 30 days’ notice, or immediately for non-payment, abuse of our staff, or illegal use of our services. Any unused-hour refund due is paid at that time.

07Business plans

A business (Office) plan requires an active residential membership and covers offices of up to 4 people; larger teams are referred to a managed-service partner. Office hours are billed at $230 per hour, with the same volume discounts, rollover and quarterly refund rules as residential plans, on an invoice separate from your residential plan. Business add-ons (website, social media management, SEO and AI search, cybersecurity, AI tools, business email and others we may offer) are quoted individually in writing; work beyond an agreed quote draws on plan hours.

Domains, hosting, ad spend, software licenses and similar third-party costs are billed separately and remain in your name wherever the provider allows.

08Onboarding and your responsibilities

  • Every new client goes through onboarding once their first problem is handled: devices inventoried, backups and protection installed, passwords sorted.
  • You agree to keep a working internet connection, provide reasonable access to devices and premises, and tell us about anyone else who services your equipment.
  • You confirm you own or are authorized to let us work on every device, account and network you ask us to touch.
  • You are responsible for keeping copies of any data you cannot afford to lose, in addition to any backup we manage.

09Remote access and monitoring consent

Remote sessions use tools such as Splashtop that let us see and control your screen with your knowledge. Member devices run a monitoring agent that reports hardware health, update status and security alerts to us. By accepting these terms you consent to that access for the purpose of supporting and protecting your devices. We do not use monitoring to read your personal files or messages.

10Passwords and account credentials

As part of our service we may become aware of passwords. Privacy and protection are a core principle, but we cannot guarantee the safety and security of your passwords. By using our services you agree that we are not responsible for maintaining or protecting them. We recommend a password manager, which we will set up for you, and we recommend changing any password you have shared with us once the work is done.

11Backups and data

Backup as a service copies selected folders on covered devices to encrypted cloud storage on a schedule. Backups depend on the device being powered on and connected. We make reasonable efforts to verify backups during check-ins, but no backup system is perfect, and we are not liable for data that was never captured, was excluded from the backup set, or was altered before the last successful backup.

Data recovery from failed drives is best-effort and may require a third-party lab at additional cost, which we will quote before proceeding.

12Availability and response

We answer around the clock, every day, with no after-hours surcharge. We do not promise a specific response or resolution time. We aim to reply within hours, and if four hours pass without a reply, contact us again by phone. In-person visits are scheduled by mutual agreement and may depend on travel.

13Warranties and limitation of liability

We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, services are provided “as is” and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant third-party hardware, software or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits or lost time, even if we were told they were possible. Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent allowed.

14Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at help@youwreckwetech.com and give us 30 days to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top tells you when they last changed, and we will email members about material changes.
